Week 7A - All Families

Dear Families, Duty allocations now run from 8 am to 12 pm, although our aim is to finish all events and duties well before midday. We are trialling this schedule with the hope of reducing each family’s rostered duty to once every three weeks. We are especially grateful to families who take on additional duties, helping our events run smoothly and efficiently. When your designated event finishes, please pack away all equipment, including tents, and leave it in a neat, orderly pile near your event for the pack-up team to collect. Your help makes pack-up quicker and easier for everyone. The committee and children greatly appreciate your time and support. It is a requirement of registration at Sutherland Little Athletics that a parent/carer from each family work on a roster system. All jobs are fairly easy and no experience is necessary. Parents on rostered duty are required to report to the information table (near the canteen) by 7.45am to ensure that all areas have sufficient officials and helpers to commence competition at 8am. Events cannot commence until all areas are staffed. Not helping risks your child not being allowed to compete or receive an award at the end of the season. All families with children in 6's and up are required to carry out duties (unless they have paid the duty opt-out fee). Parent duties need to be completed once every 2-3 weeks.
